HAPPY FAMILY OF 5
Booking for a family of 5 can be a drama as most hotels have family rooms of 4 maximum and unless you pay for 2 rooms it's tough luck. However on phoning the Stilton Cheese they were very helpful and made it no problem booking the family room for 5 even though the trip advisor booking web metrics only had a drop down menu for 4. Room was spotless in a converted out house round the back of the pub, 1 double, 1 fold out single and a set of lovely big bunk beds. We hadn't booked breakfast but was assured turning up for breakfast for a small additional fee was no problem. The breakfast was lovely and well worth the money. Our kids enjoyed the stay and loved exploring. The location is only a short walk to the wedding function we attended down the road all other attractions are easily within walking distance.

"Exactly what I needed and what was said on the web"
Stayed in a room in a group of six units' at the back of the pub. The room was fine, Eat at the attached pub - good breakfast and evening meals. Liked the pub's clientele, the atmosphere - seemed quite of locals eat there - and the young waitresses were very polite and helpful (and put up with my humour!).

"Really nice staff, room was roomy, very clean."
Checked in late in the evening, not a problem. Had a very tasty evening meal. Very friendly, good parking. and location easy to find. Highly recommend.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts both introduced themselves. Pub food very good, both breakfast and evening meals. Nothing was too much trouble. Did not hear any noise from the pub despite being fairly close to it. location was ideal for travelling further afield. The village of Stilton offered other places to eat out and a couple of local shops with post office. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would go back again.
